After two years in development, Ali designed and just launched ENCORE, her private label shoe line. She arrived in the fashion world in 2007, first launching Bourgeoisie Inc. By 2009, the hardworking entrepreneur creatednumerous successful ventures under the Bourgeoisie brand, including the shoe boutique Bourgeoisie; the virtual online store BourgeoisieShoes.com, which dominates in market share; the radio/ television personality “Ms. Bourgeoisie,” and asserting herself as “the shoe broker,” an authority and consultant onmen’s and women’s footwear.Since its launch, Ali began transforming her company into the global luxury lifestyle brand it is today.

Committed to the Harlem Restoration project, Ali funneled revenue back in the community through her shoe boutique and active participation with the chamber of commerce. Bringing high visibility and exposure to her establishment and the neighborhood of Harlem, the Bourgeoisie shoe boutique aided in attracting other high-end retail to Harlem. Prior to its closing,Ali’s shoe boutique quickly became a shopping destination for celebrities, socialites, other IT-girls and fashion-conscious women visiting New York City.Because of her fashion prowessness, Ali has been featured in various women’s magazines, including Elle, Essence, Lucky, Giant as well as a guest on“The Wendy Williams Show.” She’s a firm believer in the power of women and using her voice as a way to inspire. Ali is the founder of “It Chicks,” a quarterly social luncheon that provides a platform for multi – cultural women to dialogue and create opportunities for synergy. A true believe of girl power, she’s spearheaded an awareness campaign for New York’s Revlon Walk for women, managing to bring the best in fashion, music and entertainment together to raise funding for such a great cause.

In 2013 Rah Ali signed a book deal with La’ Femme Fatale’ Publishing Ali has been honored by Russell Simmons and international religious figure Rabbi Marc Schneier with the Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award by the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, an award given to those whom take leadership in strengthening race relations through business and personal endeavors.
